Special Interest Groups & Education Classes

The General Membership meetings, in addition to conducting the business of the organization, are opportunities to learn. Each meeting features a local expert in some aspect of genealogical research, including--but not limited to--records, preservation, local research resources, methodology, and of course, interesting stories uncovered in our research.

Each meeting begins with a social hour, followed by "Ask Lloyd" segment wherein Lloyd Bockstruck will answer questions about resources in the Genealogy Section of the library. This year, the monthly topics focus upon other resources at the Dallas Public Library not generally considered by genealogists. Come join us for refreshments, social networking, and learning fun.
