Old Letot Cemetery

LOCATION: 10606 Shady Trail, Dallas, TX
From Walnut Hill Lane, go 0.5 mile south on Shady Trail. The cemetery is located near the southeast corner of intersection of Manana and Shady Trail. This cemetery is fully fenced, locked, and maintained. The cemetery has a Historic Texas Cemetery marker (2002).

DGS volunteers surveyed the cemetery in 1979 and 1982. It was published in Dallas County Texas: Genealogical Data from Early Cemeteries, Vol. 1, 1982. The information has been updated with information from death certificates and from obituaries from The Dallas Morning News.

“Additional Burials At Letot Prohibited. Additional burials in the old Letot Cemetery on Shady Trail were prohibited Monday by a City Council resolution. Health director J. W.
